We had our first official session this week and we are underway. The theme was communication and we all took personality tests to discover our Myers/Briggs Personality codes.
Then we discussed how our personalities interact with those of our spouses, our children, and our grandchildren. We explored the process of engineering our “parenting system” to include people who have different personality types and can act as mentors for our children.
It was a fun session filled with a lot of laughs and some great discussion. And everyone left with a copy of “Please Understand Me II” by David Kiersey (a great book about personality types).
This week we’re looking forward to Session 2 as we discuss Financial Issues with our special guest: Greg Wright.
Greg is a Certified Public Accountant who has helped everyone from large corporations like Chiquita to individual families like mine save money and plan for their futures. He’s also a dear friend and a wonderful human being with a heart for helping people succeed.
